but it works well with q45 (2e12 rev 03). and it works fine with mesa-7.2branch, the issue can easily reproduce by runing doom3-demo, for other games (torcs and quake4), you need play for a long time to reproduce. This needs to be retested against current drm-intel-next kernel and master xf86-video-intel. (In reply to comment #4) > This needs to be retested against current drm-intel-next kernel and master > xf86-video-intel. > we have retested against current drm-intel-next kernel and master xf86-video-intel, ang meet the same problem as this bug. this issue still exists against below commit: Libdrm: maste87e90c73620b88005fcca5fd40aaaad0b08932e1 Mesa: master 4be624d693554ad3950afab90e331a6725cc5004 Xf86_video_intel:master 08914cceda6c57530023cdcdb5ad7e4024f36a6e Xserver:master de1a8b68eb10c39a0d4a197107d68d7cc009edb2 GEM_kernel: (drm-intel-next)4cfed552365fc7b226d93c28ffc5e85db29f2820 (In reply to comment #6) > this issue still exists against below commit: > Libdrm: maste87e90c73620b88005fcca5fd40aaaad0b08932e1 > Mesa: master 4be624d693554ad3950afab90e331a6725cc5004 > Xf86_video_intel:master 08914cceda6c57530023cdcdb5ad7e4024f36a6e > Xserver:master de1a8b68eb10c39a0d4a197107d68d7cc009edb2 > GEM_kernel: (drm-intel-next)4cfed552365fc7b226d93c28ffc5e85db29f2820 > sorry ,GEM_Kernel should be : GEM_kernel: (drm-intel-next)78d3308fc296d1f960a0b35912ba4178f56a3d6f Please retest against for-airlied. If it passes, retest against drm-intel-next. It seems we don't have better choice than bisecting. Haien/Jiewen, could you bisect mesa? If for-airlied still blocks your testing, you can use some upstream kernel like 2.6.27. Now this issue is gone with mesa master commit 154a9e5317f890618932cea0129ef887e16baf84 and kernel for-airlied commit 728ced8c47f99a2287cdd0d3e77f5ae1a3d410e6 . It is gone with drm-next branch too. |
