I don't have a NetBSD to try this.

I just built 2.0.x (the current branch) on NetBSD 4.0/i386 and I didn't run into any problem.

Which platform to you run it on?

oops I didn't see: pre-release 4.99 and x86_64

I guess that will be harder to find.

WONTFIX unless you can reproduce on a stable version.
