The problem didn't give me the peace. Yesterday I tweaked little in xorg.conf on neomagic driver options and enabled "noAccel" option. Impossible but true ! the change of this option caused starting wmaker. It looks like there is no error only but driver settings. Where I could find the description of all options of the driver ? Man pages and sources are poorly described. Sorry boys, my bug report are false alarm. Could be bug#6842 ? and http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=468852 ? Is this still an issue for you on a newer version of xserver? If so, does this problem also occur with the vesa driver? No response. Closing. |
