strace and ltrace output is also available if desired. An xterm and a twm start on our GM965 then drag it. The bug can't be reproduced with the latest Xserver and Xf86_video_intel code. I've recently gotten a 965GM desktop system, and was able to reproduce jiang's issue on a fresh Gutsy-beta installation, by opening an xterm and running `xrandr -o 1`. The screen was slightly corrupted, and after dragging the xterm it showed more corruption. See attached photos. Created attachment 11902 [details]

*** Bug 12623 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** it seems that fengming can reproduce it on bug# 12623...raise the priority. This problem goes away with the latest git code on my machine, so I'm closing it. Bryce, please reopen if you can still reproduce it with the latest code on your machine. Fengming, is the fix in -intel or in xserver? For Bryce: I don't know exactly which commit fix this bug.I only use the latest git code(both Xorg and intel driver). |
