Incomplete patch from original submitter to X Consortium none

Description Alan Coopersmith 2007-07-17 10:52:55 UTC
From the old X.Org/X Consortium bug records - unfortunately, the patch is
incomplete in my copy, so someone will have to recreate the missing parts.
[An excellent starter project for someone wanting to get started working on
 X code.]
