unable to reproduce on current CVS. please describe your setup (video driver,
xorg.conf, server version...)
Comment 3 John5788 2004-08-22 15:45:18 UTC
Using Gentoo Linux 2004.2, gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.8-r1, nvidia 6111 drivers,
xorg-x11-6.7.99.902. Will attach my xorg.conf as well.

Comment 5 Jason Faulkner 2004-08-31 18:54:19 UTC
Same issue here... similar Xorg.conf, except mine has RenderAccel "true"
Comment 6 Mike A. Harris 2004-09-02 17:22:36 UTC
Note: This bug is with respect to Nvidia's proprietary drivers, not the
open source "nv" driver.
Comment 7 John5788 2004-09-02 17:31:26 UTC
Is it a problem with RenderAccel?
Comment 8 Jason Faulkner 2004-09-02 17:46:55 UTC
I've reproduced this bug with renderaccel enabled and disabled.
Comment 9 John5788 2004-09-02 17:48:50 UTC
:-/ So it's just the nvidia driver. Should let NVIDIA know about this.
Comment 10 Jason Faulkner 2004-09-02 17:57:59 UTC
The bug has already been sent to linux-bugs@nvidia.com ... possibly if people
make more noise they'll be more inclined to fix it.
Comment 11 ketjow 2005-01-19 10:09:58 UTC
I have the same problem here, with both RenderAccel on or off.
Firefox 1.0, nvidia-drivers-1.0.6629, xorg-6.8.1
Comment 12 ketjow 2005-01-22 05:37:00 UTC
and it happens only, when xcompmgr active, or a window manager that lauches it
automatically (like xfce4.2).
when xcompmgr is off, this bug doesn't show itself
Comment 13 Adam Jackson 2005-03-26 19:11:38 UTC
if this is no longer an issue with the latest nvidia drivers, please say so on
bug #1258.
