we will have a try DVI on docking station.. I tried on an IBM dock station. The DVI port is totally not detected by the driver, while the VGA port works fine. this would be a fix later issue... Mass reopen. The "LATER" resolution is lame, I'm deleting it. Consider LATER to have arrived. Does this problem happens with the latest driver and Xorg server? If so, would you please provide the xorg log with modedebug turned on? Thanks, Hong Seppl, please attach logfile as attachment rather than paste it directly. Gordon, Did you see a blank screen ( monitor not lighted up at all ) in your testing? Do you still remember? (In reply to comment #6) > Gordon, Did you see a blank screen ( monitor not lighted up at all ) in your > testing? Do you still remember? I verified on the dock station on 915GM and it does not detect the DVI monitor at all (not lighted up). I tried on another dock station on 965GM and it can detect the DVI monitor but with a blank screen. We will report it as another bug. Reassign Hong's bugs back to the default for triage. Seppl, could you add option "ModeDebug" "yes" in the Device section of xorg.conf, and attach the Xorg.0.log? Without the request debug info, we are not able to go on fixing. So I have to close this one. Please reopen if you could answer the last comment. |
