The system works, but is very slow to start, without any disk acitivity.
Here are the first and last timeouts :

[... repeated every 10 seconds....]

[  311.643933] [drm:drm_atomic_helper_wait_for_dependencies [drm_kms_helper]] *ERROR* [CONNECTOR:50:SVIDEO-1] flip_done timed out

I am using Mageia Linux with kernel 4.20.12, and can provide more info or logs if usefull.

Hi can you please attach the full dmesg from boot. Which platform is this?
Is it a duplicate of Bug 109623? 

In case you are using older kernel, Can you please verify the issue with latest drmtip?

It isn't. No DPMS trigger. But I could find a workaround, adding this option to grub options : " video=SVIDEO-1:d"

It is a very recent kernel 4.20 and DRM 2.4.97 . Do you really think something has changed for such old 2008 hardware?

This is a dupe of bug 93782 which I fixed recently. Unfortunately the fix narrowly missed 5.0, so it'll be a while yet before it hits stable kernels.
