Thanks for reporting!
Can't reproduce using Linux Mint 14 x64 using LibreOffice 4.0.0.3 rc3. Seems like a windows only bug?
Comment 2 Thomas van der Meulen 2013-02-10 15:06:39 UTC
Than you for reporting this bug,
I can't reproduce this bug running LibreOffice 4.0.0.3 on Windows 7
Comment 3 Jorendc 2013-02-10 15:58:02 UTC
@Bug reporter: Do you have any extentions installed? I don't think this is related to a user profile, but does a user profile reset (following this guide: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resetting_the_user_profile) help?

Kind regards,
Joren

I have a similar problem, it triggers automatically when auto saving.

It seems that the problems don't show up by setting zoom, only once, before it starts.

Linux Mint Debian Edition kernel 3.7.0-8.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64 #1 ZEN SMP PREEMPT

I reproduce the issue too.

Windows 7 64bits
Version 4.0.0.3 (Build ID: 7545bee9c2a0782548772a21bc84a9dcc583b89)

I have no specific extension, only the standard one.

The issue is random.

Can someone here please provide a stacktrace when this happens?

How to get a stacktrace?

- Install the source packages.
- When it hangs ps ax | grep soffice and note the PID
- gdb soffice.bin
- enter attach [PID] with [PID] being the noted PID of the soffice.bin process
- type thread apply all bt and copy&paste the output to your editor and attach here.
